New York, the city that wears black

In New York, black is the MUST HAVE color in your wardrobe. I guess it’s because the color is very subtle and easy to blend in the crowd. Especially I am feeling lazy and don’t know what to wear for the day, black is the definitely the best choice.

The key item of today's outfit is the Alice + Olivia fox fur collar cardigan. I first saw it in Saks and felt in love instantly with its rich black cherry color fur. Sadly they were totally sold out in the small sizes so I went home and grabbed it right away from the NM online that night. Its definitely one of my best buy items of the season!!! I was wearing it a lot during the winter and even now in this late spring! The fur collar is detachable and the cardigan itself is very thin and soft, I can easily layers it with other cashmere cardigans, blazers, or even winter coats!  Plus its drapery design in the back is very unique which gives this piece more personalities.
